Hobonichi Weeks Paper Series: Black Gingham April 2026 Start
Spring 2026 version, from April 2026 to March 2027. Available in Japanese only. On sale from February 1st at 12:00 AM (UK time).
The Paper series uses the nuanced paper from the paper company Takeo for their covers.
This book may seem like an ordinary black techo, but when you look closely, you will find the entire surface covered with a plaid pattern. The book is made of Takeo’s “Gingham GA,” a paper embossed with plaids reminiscent of gingham. You can see the gingham pattern from different angles of light. Although it’s embossed, it feels smooth to the touch. The year 2026 is foil-pressed in silver.
The cover material is made with paper and is delicate. Please avoid getting the material wet. If you’re concerned about friction against the material, we recommend using a Clear Cover. Alternatively, we recommend storing it in a pouch or case when taking it out with you.
